How old is it? Who lived there? What’s this place famous for? What’s the significance of the name?
Being of an inquisitive mind, these are just some of the questions that appear in my mind everywhere I go. This could be seen as a curse but luckily I see it as a blessing. I love facts, I love exploring and I love where I live….and this is how Estuary Escapades was born!
After running a local Grade II listed building for many years and enjoying being part of the careful restoration, updating and general wonder of the place, my love of the local area has never waned. I have always loved adventure and exploring and am regularly overwhelmed at the amazing history of people and places and the thought of what has gone before.
I desperately wanted to share my passion and knowledge for the local area and being a lover of experiences and fun days out myself, along with having a background in event planning, the idea of Estuary Escapades started to form.
A long time in the planning, everything we do has a basis of genuine love, care and the aim of creating fantastic experiences and events for all ages to wholeheartedly enjoy.
